when you get and install the sougou input from app store, you can not find the item in the input source of keyboard setting. you can only use sougou input when you open it. the solution is downloading from web page then install it by double click the dmg file. wish this can help you all.

For whatever the reason, Sougou cannot pass the input software via the Apple store regulation. So it put this fake one to lure you in. And in the complete version, this software uses internet doing something background without even notify you. I hate these kind of behaviours of softwares - connecting you mac to some sever, uploading privacy, and upgrading in the background without even asking the user. I hope there were a score below 1 so that I can rate it more properly.

the input method write/read disk in a crazy manner. I wonder what is the input method doing that uses so much disk bandwidth.
